Products are intended for the end customer and may not be resold unless Recess Cookie Company expressly agrees and the resale is lawful.

Please read the product label and any required cottage-food disclosure provided with your order. Product descriptions and photographs are provided to help you choose, but handmade items may have reasonable differences in color, decoration, size, or appearance.

Recess Cookie Company offers foods made and sold under the Tennessee Food Freedom Act.

Nuts, gluten, wheat, dairy and soy are all used in our kitchen and may be present even if not listed on the ingredients for a specific cookie.

Ingredient and major-allergen information is provided on the product label or with the product as required by applicable law. Products may be prepared or packaged in a home or shared kitchen where allergens are present. Unless Recess Cookie Company expressly confirms otherwise in writing, no product is represented as allergen-free, and cross-contact cannot be ruled out.

An order request is not accepted until Recess Cookie Company confirms it or payment is successfully completed, as indicated during checkout. Products, dates, and quantities remain subject to availability. Recess Cookie Company may decline or cancel an order because of an error, unavailable ingredients or capacity, suspected fraud, an unsafe or unlawful request, or a fulfillment restriction. If Recess Cookie Company cancels a paid order, the amount charged for the canceled portion will be refunded.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact, customization, and fulfillment information and for reviewing the order before submission.

Our cookie stand is self-serve and based on the honor system. We trust our community to pay for the cookies they take before leaving the premises.

Guests who visit the cookie stand acknowledge that security cameras are in use. All theft will be reported to the police and may be publicly displayed.

Prices are shown on the website and may change at any time. The total presented at checkout includes the selected products and any displayed taxes, delivery or shipping charges, discounts, deposits, or other fees.

Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. You authorize that provider to charge the selected payment method for the amount displayed. A deposit does not reserve a date unless the checkout or order confirmation says that it does. Any remaining balance is due according to the order confirmation.

For custom products, you must provide requested details and approvals by the stated deadlines. Inspiration images communicate a general direction and do not promise an exact copy.

Change, cancellation, refund, and no-show rules shown at checkout or in the order confirmation are part of these terms. Because food and custom-made products are perishable or made for a particular customer, they may not be returnable or refundable after preparation begins, except when required by law or when Recess Cookie Company agrees otherwise. If an order is incorrect, damaged, or appears unsafe, do not consume the affected item and contact Recess Cookie Company promptly using the order-confirmation details.

Available fulfillment methods, locations, windows, charges, and destination limits are shown during checkout or in the order confirmation. Times are estimates unless Recess Cookie Company expressly confirms a guaranteed time. You are responsible for providing a usable address, being available during the agreed window, and following storage, transport, reheating, and food-safety instructions after receiving the order.

Shipping is offered only where permitted. If a shippable order cannot be sent within the promised time, Recess Cookie Company will provide any delay notice, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law. Carrier delays and conditions outside reasonable control may affect arrival after shipment.

If Recess Cookie Company offers a subscription, the frequency, products or benefits, recurring price, pickup or delivery method, and any minimum term will be shown before purchase. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation.

You may cancel future renewals using the account or contact method provided with the subscription. Cancellation does not automatically refund a charge already processed or an order already prepared, except when required by law or stated in the subscription offer.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for activity under the account. Contact the business if you believe the account has been used without permission.

You agree to receive electronic order records and transactional communications at the contact information you provide. Marketing email or text messages require the consent described when you sign up and can be stopped using the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions in the message.

Recess Cookie Company is responsible for products and remedies to the extent required by applicable law. To the fullest extent the law permits, Recess Cookie Company is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate customer instructions, failure to collect or receive an order, improper handling after fulfillment, unauthorized resale, or events outside reasonable control.

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the sale. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
